The restaurant had no garden seating but the food was very good. Don&rsquo;t be put off by the simple exterior, the food was one of the best we had in Beaune. Go try it.

The steak is seven minutes cooked and tastes just right. I eat fish. The fish meat is more smooth but the foreign sauce is a bit unaccustomed. After the meal, I also came to a fresh melon dessert. The food was excellent and the wine list very good indeed. Both food and wine were very good value. The restaurant itself is modern and functional so not great for atmosphere but that did not detract from the evening!So, what let it down? It was a busy evening but the service suffered as a result. No problem with the server&rsquo;s attitude, which was fine but it reached a point that things like clearing the table after our main course just took too long.However, on balance very good and we will return.
